Concealed Carry - Live Fire
Primary Focus:
This class emphasizes the fundamentals of pistol shooting and is aimed towards getting new shooters acclimated. This course is designed for anyone looking to obtain their Virginia Concealed Handgun Permit.

7 hours 9am-3pm
Location: Your class will start at the Middletown Fire Department located at 7855 Main St, Middletown, VA 22645. After lunch we will proceed to the range located at 650 Water Plant Road.

*Holsters are not mandatory for this course as we will be conducting live fire from ready positions.

Attire: No open toed shoes. No low cut or V neck shirts. Brimmed ball caps are recommended.

Red Dot Pistol- 1
Skill Level Requirements
This course is for novice to intermediate shooters that know the four firearms safety rules and can adhere by them to a fault.
(Taking this Red Dot Pistol 1 course is suggested in order to take our more advanced Red Dot Pistol II Course at a later date)
We require a minimun of 4 students for this course. If the 4 student minimum is not met all paid bookings will have their paid fee credited to their Middletown Training account to be towards another class, 1 on 1 training or range time of their choosing.
Course Primary Focus...
To equip each student with knowledge and skills that will allow them to succesfully Utilize a Red Dot sight on their handgun.This course focuses on the effective use of handguns equipped with dot sighting systems. It covers topics such as sight alignment, target aquisition and shooting techniques specific to dot sighting systems. Participants learn how to maximize accuracy and speed using this modern sighting system. We breakdown each individual skill and apply shooting drills that directly apply to that skill to give a solid foundation for each student to progress with their red dot pistol.

This event is open to experienced handgun shooters that actively train with their handgun. All attendees must know the 4 firearm safety rules and can adhere to them to a fault.
This event is open to just 10 shooters.
Description of event...
Each attendee will present and demo a favorite drill. After which we will all perform the drill then as a group discuss tips and tricks and each drills application
This will be a great chance to train with like-minded individuals and to expand our own skills base.
Middletown Training will supply the targets.

Handgun Skills Development 1
Skill Level Requirements...
Students must know the 4 firearm safety rules and must be able to adhere to them to a fault.
This is not a first time beginner course. Students must have some previous experience.
If you have no previous experience we suggest taking a 1 on 1 private course with our instructor prior to signing up for this course.
We require a minimun of 4 students for this class. If the 4 student minimum is not met, all paid bookings will have their paid fee credited to their Middletown Training account to be used toward another class, private 1 on 1 training or range time of their choosing.
Taking this course is required in order to take our Handgun Skills Development II course
Primary Focus
This course is designed for the Novice to Intermediate shooter.
Emphasis on the fundamentals is this course objective. Learning how to effectively apply the fundamentals is key in a shooters progression. We will go step by step through the curriculum teaching the student ways to apply the fundamentals and how to self-diagnose your shooting.
